Which is the best supermarket? It depends, doesn't it? It depends on what you need. Whether you produce interactive websites in ASP.NET, PHP or Java Server Pages or just JavaScript and AJAX. Whether you want your own domain or not, whether you want to pay a lot for a domain name and good service or just the barebones at a reasonable price. Try something like X10Hosting, or Brinkster (I like Brinkster because it has both PHP and ASP.NET support in the paid version); these are general web hosts which are pretty much unbiased towards your development language.

Well to be honest it depends on your location also. The closer you are to their DC the better performance (speed) you will get for your site. If you are located in atlanta, GA then the best one that I've seen in atlanta is Velix Hosting. Most reliable one I have seen and not expensive. velixhosting.com check it out.

Hey Chanan, I'd go with HostGator or Dreamhost definately. Both have great prices if you use a coupon. (I used code SAVEMONTHLY when I signed up for a year of hosting with dreamhost, and I think it ended up costing around $40 for the whole year) Both will give you the best support of any hosting company around.
